Ocean Tipping Points Video: When Little Changes Can Make a Big Difference

Six leading ocean thinkers come together in a new video to discuss rapid, potentially irreversible shifts in coastal and ocean ecosystems.

Produced by NOAA biologist Phil Levin as part of the Ocean Tipping Points project, the video features Meg Caldwell and Mary Ruckelshaus from Stanford University, Washington State Senator Kevin Ranker, Kai Lee from the David and Lucille Packard Foundation, Hawk Rosales from the InterTribal Sinkyone Wilderness Council, and former EPA Director Bill Ruckleshaus.

The video follows a dinner conversation among these six prominent leaders as they exchange ideas about how to improve human and environmental wellbeing, better engage citizens in ocean issues, and address challenges such as ocean acidification and natural disasters.
